All that glitters ...

It's challenge time again at Hooked on Craft!  

For this challenge, we are looking for ALL THAT GLITTERS :)

I've used some fabulous paper roses, charms, doily and crystal leaf stamens.

I've also used Diamond Dust on my Chipboard to the effect of glittery snow :)

This challenge will run from 28th of May 2012 until 30th of June 2012...

With this challenge please create a card/layout using glitter or something sparkly.

This is the prize - some gorgeous flowers, leaves and charms ...

Sketch time at A2Z

Holly has picked a great sketch this month ...

And this is what I've come up with ...

I've used one of my favourite A2Z pieces - a butterfly which I've opalled and impressed with a rubber stamp. I am really liking this technique for chipboard at the moment.

I've also used Hooked on Craft flowers and a FWAB flourish, as well as other bits of ribbon and doilies from my stash.

Challenge time at Hooked on Craft ...

Here are the details for challenge 20 at Hooked on Craft

For this challenge we have the theme of ......

"FLOWERS"

This challenge will run from 30th of April 2012 until 26th of May 2012....

With this challenge please create a card for using flowers. It could celebrate Mothers day here in Australia but basically please ensure flowers are on your creation.

The prize for this challenge is a $10 voucher

Here's my sample ... some little gift card holders with beautiful Hooked on Craft paper flowers. 

I've used carnations, lilies, and roses, as well as leaves and doilies.

Some April layouts ... just scraping in :)

Well, it's been a busy April in our house!  With Easter, School Holidays, and sickness - and trying to fit work in amongst all of those, there hasn't been much time left!!  I think I made up for it this weekend as I got a headstart on a few DT projects.

Anyway, here are my April projects from A2Z Scraplets.   From now on, A2Z new product releases will be ever 2 months, so here's the last of my monthly projects :)

I hope your April's weren't as busy as mine - I'm looking forward to May!!

Two EggstraSpecial Kids

How cute are these two little faces!!  I couldn't go past them for this layout and even used some of my old old paper stash from K&Co - it matches perfectly to my photo :)  I know there's a good reason for hoarding!!

This was also my first ever machine stitching on a layout ... I think I like it :)

I've used the easter chipboard from A2Z Scraplets, a leaf charm from My 2 Angels, and a gorgeous swirl from Flourish with a Bling!  I love how all these colours go together.

This is the last of my easter layouts to share with A2Z goodies.

Easter Morning ...

... the Look of Surprise ...

I simply love the looks on the kids faces when they see the Easter Bunny has been!  They cleaned up this year, and they were so happy about it too :)

I had a lot of fun with this little easter basket (A2Z Scraplets).  The eggs in the basket are separate pieces, so you can 3D them on.  I glittered each one a different colour, added some flowers and a ribbon, and had a custom easter basket to match all the colours of the foil in the real easter baskets!

Happy Easter!

There's a new challenge up at Hooked on Craft - and it's all about Easter.   You don't even have to use any of their products - though it would be great if you could.

These gorgeous white and green leaves, orange and white flowers, the paper doily, and the thanks stamps are all some of the gorgeous products at Hooked on Craft.
